Overview

The safari experience in this area becomes unforgettable due to its lush green vegetation, characterized by towering trees of the groundwater forest, sightings of tree-climbing lions, the soda lake teeming with thousands of pink-hued flamingos and large water birds, as well as the presence of troops of baboons and blue monkeys, all set against the backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment.

The park’s name, Euphorbia tirucalli, known as Emanyara in the Maasai language, lends its essence to the area, which spans across 648.7 km2.
